People who have the greatest need for a LEDybug might not be able afford one. This is especially regrettable if a LEDybug might help them land a job. The idea of the sponsorship program is that one person, the sponsor, who owns a LEDybug, loans it to people whom he trusts for them to use. The recipients might use the LEDybug to get attention at a job fair, to promote their small businesses, or to earn commissions by demonstrating the LEDybug.
If there is more than one Demonstrator using a sponsor's LEDybug, each would have his or her own Discount Code. Any commissions earned under the Discount Codes supplied by the sponsor would be sent to the sponsor. The sponsor would distribute the funds to the Demonstrator(s) based on whatever agreement there is between them.
Any agreements between the sponsor and those borrowing the LEDybug is strictly between those people; the LEDybug company does not control or mediate or even know about those agreements. The company is only responsible for reporting the full commission for each sale to the sponsor who is the purchaser of the LEDybug, and to the Demonstrators. Each Demonstrator is able to see the credits to and payments related to his or her Discount Code.
The LEDybug company hopes that many people will find the LEDybug financially beneficial and hopes that the sponsorship program will put the LEDybug into the hands of those that need it the most.
The LEDybug Marketing Program is not a Multi-Level Marketing System.
| LEDybug Marketing Program | Multi-Level Marketing |
| There is only one level. All Demonstrators get same deal. | People at top level of pyramid do well. Those at the bottom do poorly. |
| Demonstrator gets no income from those he recruits. | Salesman gets income from those he recruits. |
| Demonstrators share no income. | Salesman shares his income with those that recruited him. |
| Demonstrator buys one LEDYbug | Salesman must buy inventory. |
| Customer places order at web store. | Salesman writes order. |
| Demonstrator has no incentive to recruit a Demonstrator. | Salesman has financial incentive to recruit more salesmen. |
Cities have requirements for Sign Permits.
Farmers' Markets have restrictions on signs. I have taken a LEDybug to the Farmers' Market in my home town of Las Cruces. I found, to my surprise, that all signs must be licensed. -sz
Trade shows have restrictions on all activities.
I am investigating these. If you find something, please let me know. -sz
